BCodeGen™ 50× TAE Buffer

Overview

TAE buffers are used for electrophoresis of DNA and RNA through agarose gel electrophoresis. Agarose is dissolved in a TAE buffer, and nucleic acid is run on an agarose gel placed in a TAE buffer. The electrophoretic mobility of DNA is influenced by the composition of the electrophoresis buffer and the ionic strength. For TAE buffers, the resolution of supercoiled DNA is better than that of TBE.
